Description of Position :


Family Psychological Associates is seeking a psychologist for our Armstrong, Indiana and Clarion county offices. The psychologist provides intensive therapeutic services to adults, children, and families in an office setting. Services provided by the psychologist will vary based on the needs to of the adult/child and/or family. The ideal candidate will work from a strengths based perspective and have knowledge/experience utilizing a variety of treatment modalities and theoretical frameworks, tailored to meet the needs of the adult/child or family. The psychologist position requires working in a treatment team based environment with ongoing and active collaboration with case managers, physicians and other community partners.



A Psychologist's responsibilities will include:

- Provide ongoing supervision for outpatient mental health assessment and counseling services to adults and children.
- Assist with the coordination of care for clients by accessing other resources within Family Psychological Associates and the community as needed.

- Provide direct and indirect mental health clinical services to clients and their families.

- Supervise on-going BHRS evaluations and clinicians performing evaluations.


Minimum requirements:


A.  Medical Degree (PsyD or PhD)

B.   Successful completion of an approved residency program

C.   Licensed as a Psychologist

D.  Act 33 and Act 34 clearances and FBI fingerprint Clearance
